GENERAL MAINTENANCE GUIDE
The following maintenance tips provide general guidance to help keep your equipment operating at peak performance.
For detailed maintenance procedures and specific service recommendations, refer to the owner’s manual included with your purchase.
SOLE TREADMILLS
Daily
Use a damp (not wet) cloth with warm water and/or mild antibacterial soap to wipe away sweat, dust, and residue from the belt, handrails, and console.
Use a soft microfiber cloth and screen-safe cleaner for touchscreens.
Weekly
Vacuum underneath and around the treadmill to prevent dust from entering the motor housing.
Unplug the machine before cleaning or moving it.
Inspect power cords, electronics, and displays on cardio equipment for damage or pinching.
Monthly
Check and tighten all frame and console bolts/screws.
Confirm that all levelling feet touch the floor, as uneven support can cause rocking or belt misalignment.
Check belt tracking and adjust if the belt drifts. See the owner’s manual for instructions on adjusting the belt.
Run diagnostic tests (available on specific models) to ensure console and resistance systems function correctly.
Every other month, remove the motor cover and carefully vacuum out any dirt or hair that may have accumulated.
Unplug the treadmill before removing the motor cover.
Lubrication
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your treadmill, proper belt maintenance is required.
You should regularly check between the treadmill belt and the top of the treadmill deck to ensure proper lubrication and that no dirt or debris has become trapped.
Keeping the deck clean and lubricated at the recommended intervals ensures the longest life possible for your unit.
Follow the lubrication schedule found in the owner’s manual, typically every 3–6 months or 90 hours of use.
Not every treadmill requires lubrication; be sure to consult your manual before applying lubricant.
Follow the lubrication instructions that came with your treadmill.
Avoid over-application of lubrication.
Use only a silicone treadmill lubricant.

Wipe handles, pedals, and the console using a damp (not wet) cloth and mild soap.
Clean the sensors and touchscreen surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Weekly
Vacuum around the base and move the arms to prevent buildup near joints and bearings.
Confirm all pedals and arms move smoothly without sticking or resistance changes.
Inspect power cords, electronics, and displays on cardio equipment for damage or pinching.
Monthly
Check and tighten crank arm and linkage bolts.
Check all frame bolts for stability and ensure levelling feet are balanced.
Run the machine to listen for unusual sounds that could indicate wear.
Run diagnostic tests (available on specific models) to ensure console and resistance systems function correctly.
Lubrication
Apply 2 ml of silicone-based lubricant to the center of each rail every three months to maintain smooth and quiet operation.
If movement feels rough or unusual noise is noticed during use, reapply 2 ml of lubricant to the center rail to restore optimal performance.
